Theatre Under The Stars’ Humphreys School of Musical Theatre is proud to announce Legally Blonde as their 2012 Summer Conservatory production, formally known as ACT@TUTS. Legally Blonde will play at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, September 14 – 16, 2012. Theatre Under The Stars, a member of the Independent Presenters Network, helped to launch Legally Blonde as a Broadway hit, supported the first national touring company and is excited to bring the show back to Houston in celebration of TUTS’ Humphreys School’s 40th anniversary.

Since its inception in 2003 this program of the Academy at The Humphreys School of Musical Theatre strives to bring Houston's finest musical theatre talent ages 13-18 together once a year to rehearse and present a fully staged production. These students enhance their musical theatre training through their interactions with TUTS artist team, directors, choreographers and musical directors.
