Location
All Summer Camps are offered at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center located at 1475 West Gray, Houston, TX, 77019. MAP
Hours
9:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday - Friday. There is limited space in an 8:30 AM early drop-off program to accommodate working parents, please call 713.520.1220 for details.
Friday Performances
Family and friends are encouraged to attend and applaud at the students’ hour-long performances held every Friday at 12:30 PM.
Eligibility
Although there are no restrictions based on diagnosis or mobility, TUTS Staff reserves the right to withdraw a child from the program if there are safety risks to other students, staff or volunteers; a safety risk to him/herself; and/or if the child is unwilling to stay in the classroom the majority of class time, and/or if the child frequently disrupts the classroom activities. TUTS reserves the right to define a safety risk on a case-by-case basis.
FEES
Registration Fee: $25 per family
Returned Check: $30
The River Performing and Visual Arts Center does not provide refunds partial or full once enrolled in a class with out approval of the Executive Director. Should a conflict occur before a scheduled class begins, students may transfer into a later session.
Nurse and Medical Information
A registered nurse is on duty during summer camp hours. Please provide detailed and accurate medical information on the registration form.
Registration Deadlines
Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Confirmation of Registration
You will be emailed a packet that includes an acknowledgement of your enrollment, the date of the parent orientation, information about dress, food and other important camp facts.
Financial Aid
Assistance is available based on financial need.
In order to be considered, please complete the following:
1. Financial Aid Application
2. The most recent year's tax return
3. Complete the Registration Form and Submit the Registration Fee
Funds are limited and awards are made for partial or full tuition based on the students' need and the availibility of funds. Awards are not transferable to other students or other semesters.
