TUTS at TOOTSIES
More than 100 fashionable Houstonians shopped for a great cause on Tuesday, January 27, when TUTS’ women’s auxiliary group, the Leading Ladies, hosted their second annual TUTS at TOOTSIES Style Show to raise funds for our Education and Community Outreach programs.
All guests made their entrance on the pink carpet and were greeted by Chihuahua-bearing models, preparing them for a celebration of all things PINK and the arrival of Legally Blonde: The Musical to the TUTS stage. Founding members Marsha Taylor and Amy Pierce, along with other Leading Ladies, mingled with guests while modeling designer fashions provided by Tootsies for an unconventional fashion showcase.
Theatre Under The Stars’ Leading Ladies is a group of women who embrace the vision of TUTS and passionately support musical theatre education in Houston. Leading Ladies are remarkable women who strive to make a difference in their communities and help TUTS to further its vision and outreach.
