Join us to celebrate the talent that makes inclusivity an integral part of Theatre Under The Stars programming in our community.

Inclusive Arts Showcase
Tuesday, May 7 at 7PM
Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center

For each contribution of $25 or more, you receive one General Admission ticket* and support the work of The River Performing and Visual Arts that includes:

Summer Camps focused on all aspects of musical theatre for students ages 4-19. Students participate in daily group instruction and each one-week session culminates in a show for family and friends.

Instructional-based arts classes for children and adults with disabilities. This 10-week program focuses on the development of fine arts skills in distinct disciplines including music, dance, visual art, and acting.

Community Residencies led by TUTS teaching artists designed for special education classrooms in schools, hospitals and community based organizations. Each residency concludes with a showcase and demonstration of skills.

The TUTS Performance Troupe comprised of students from The River and HSMT. The troupe performs in and around Houston showcasing the students’ artistic talent and promoting collaboration.

The River Volunteer Program employs the assistance of individual volunteers in the arts classroom to support student engagement for a meaningful art experience.
