Online Fall Classes

The River is offering online fall classes!

Live, online arts courses are specifically designed for students with disabilities working independently or with parental support. Online classes for The River are $125 per course with a waived registration fee. Payment plans are available.

Classes take place each Saturday from Sept. 19 through Nov. 21.

WATERCOLOR — Learn about watercolor painting through experimentation and drawing projects.

11am: Young Adults

BALLET – Learn basic ballet positions and terminology while working on coordination, balance, and flexibility.

12pm: Young Adults

VOICE – Learn basic music concepts and raise confidence through vocal warm ups, vocalization, and group voice lessons.

ANNIE – Learn about the triple threat of musical theatre through performance.


One-time arts workshops on Wednesday at 4pm. The fee for five of the workshops is $15 per session.

September 9 : Hip Hop Dance — Mikeitta Williams

September 16 : Still Life — Hilary Pircher

September 23 : Casting Tips — Olson Scott Kelly

September 30 : Jazz Dance — Christian Warner

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Financial Aid

Assistance is available through the Binstock Financial Fund and is based on financial need.

In order to be considered, please complete the following:

1. Complete the online Scholarship Form.

2. Your 2019 tax return

3. Enroll for at least one class above and complete the Registration Form. This must be submitted in order to be considered.

Funds are limited and awards are made for partial or full tuition based on the students’ need and the availability of funds. Awards are not transferable to other students or other semesters.

All recipients are required to complete an end of semester evaluation and submit a thank you note to the Binstock Financial Aid Fund.
