When the sun goes down behind the trees at Hermann Park, the summer night is a wonderful time to take in the Theatre Under Stars production of Million Dollar Quartet at Miller Outdoor Theatre. On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life, featuring a score of rock hits including “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Matchbox,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Hound Dog” and more.

Free parking is available at the large central parking lot in front of the Houston Zoo, near Miller Outdoor Theatre, and at the McGovern Centennial Gardens. A for-pay parking garage is available at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
