Theatre Under the Stars

When the sun goes down behind the trees at Hermann Park, the summer night is a wonderful time to take in the Theatre Under Stars production of Million Dollar Quartet at Miller Outdoor Theatre. If you’re a big fan of the oldies, you’ll certainly love Jerry Lee Lewis (Noel Carey), Carl Perkins (Billy Finn), Elvis Presley (Morgan McDowell) , Johnny Cash (Benjamin D. Hale) and Dyanne (Brooke Wilson). Don’t miss Million Dollar Quartet, the smash-hit musical inspired by the famed recording session that brought together these rock ‘n’ roll icons playing through July 17 at 8:15 p.m.

On December 4, 1956, these four young musicians gathered at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary night to life, featuring a score of rock hits including “Fever,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Matchbox,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Hound Dog” and more.

The lawn on the hill is always free, so bring your blankets, picnics, and your “Blue Suede Shoes”. Click here to find out how to donate and reserve your seats under the shade of the pavilion to your preferred evening performance of Million Dollar Quartet.
