To start a fundraiser for TUTS via Facebook on your mobile device:

| Step 2: Tap section that reads “What’s on your mind?” |  |
| Step 3: Swipe up on the bottom menu to reveal full list of options |  |
| Step 4: Scroll to the bottom and click on “Support Nonprofit” |  |
| Step 5: Tap the search bar at the top of the screen |  |
| Step 6: Type “Theatre Under The Stars” in the search bar |  |
| Step 7: Tap the option that reads “Theatre Under The Stars” with the TUTS logo |  |
| Step 8: Tap section that says “Let people know why they should donate to this nonprofit…” |  |
| Step 9: Enter your own personal message to your followers to ask them to donate to TUTS.
Here’s some suggested wording. Feel free to make it your own! Please consider supporting local arts organizations during this difficult time. They will play an integral role in the healing that will be so desperately needed beyond this crisis. I encourage you to join me in donating to Theatre Under The Stars, a non-profit organization that has served Houston for over 52 years. Over the past year alone, TUTS has employed 1,033 theatre professionals, most of which live right here in our community. The impact of the cancellations due to the coronavirus crisis represent a staggering total loss of $4.6 million to the organization. Your tax-deductible donation today allows TUTS to plan for the future, so that the curtain can rise again in September with the pre-Broadway engagement of 1776. Together, we can keep musical theatre alive in Houston. |
